It consists of the first phase of periodontitis, so if it is detected early, it can be addressed in a less invasive way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Poorly resolved gingivitis leads to periodontitis<\/strong>, which consists of a<strong>\u00a0deep gum infection<\/strong>. In the most severe cases, pockets of plaque and bacteria develop in the periodontal tissue that can present serious problems in the patient&#039;s dental health. However, if the infection is mild, a\u00a0<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"https:\/\/clinicadrcasasvilar.com\/en\/we-solve-all-the-doubts-about-curettage-pyorrhea-dental-scaling-and-root-planing\/\">dental curettage, a dental scaling or root planing<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In all phases it is <strong>need to visit a periodontist<\/strong>\u00a0to determine the involvement of the gums and recommend the most appropriate treatment in each case.
